2025 Lunch & Learn Series

Mark your calendars for our 2025 Lunch & Learn sessions!!!  All sessions are presented in the Chamber Board room from 11:30am to 1:00pm, come for as long or as short amount of time as you have available.  Lunch will be provided.

January 15 – Baraga Co Shelter Home will present on:  How Domestic Violence Impacts Your Business.  They will have available workplace policy ideas and will highlight a few financial abuse prevention tips.

March 12 – Daniel Yoder,  the Associate Regional Director of the UP Region of the Michigan Small Business Development Center will be the presenter.  He will be discussing:  understanding basic business financials (balance sheet, profit & loss statement): Learn the basic business financial statements, what the basic statements are, how to make them, how to read them, and how to use them in understanding and improving your business.

April 16 – Paul Cromell, Multimedia Marketing Strategist, WBUP | WJMN | WBKP.  Paul’s presentation will focus on the importance of digital marketing for small businesses here in the UP.   He will showcase some of the different methods that are available and how to approach them from a business standpoint.

May 21 – Dr. Jamie Smith, Smith Holistic Care
