Direct Grants Now Available

The Central Upper Peninsula Small Business Support Hub’s (The Hub’s) first Direct Grant Application window is now open!

Who can apply for The Hub’s Direct Grants?

Small businesses in Alger, Baraga, Delta, Dickinson, Marquette, Menominee, & Schoolcraft Counties that have connected with one of The Hub’s Small Business Resource Navigators and have received small business support, services, and or attended one of The Hub’s programs within the past 6 months (a Rollout Event Session).*

How can your small business become a participant in The Hub?

  • If you independently own and operate or are starting up a business with less than 500 employees within any of the 7 counties listed above, your business is more than likely eligible to participate in The Hub’s small business support, services, and programs at no cost.
  • Click on the “Get Connected” button below or on The Hub’s website, centralupsmallbizhub.org, and complete the online Hub Client Intake and Release of Information forms to have a Hub Small Business Resource Navigator connect with you, confirm your business’s eligibility, and begin supplying your small business with support, services, and information on The Hub’s upcoming programs and events.

*The Hub’s eligible participants have been emailed their business’s personalized prefilled Hub Direct Grant Application. If you are a Hub participant and haven’t received an email with application link, please check your SPAM and junk mail folders for it before contacting your Hub Small Business Resource Navigator to confirm your participation has met the grant eligibility requirements.

**Nonprofit organizations and businesses in the cannabis or casino gaming industries are not eligible to receive support and services from The Hub.
