The former Winkler Nursing Home in L’Anse is poised for an exciting transformation! With a recent state Rural Readiness Grant award, the L’Anse Area Community Development Corporation and Western Upper Peninsula Planning and Development Region are advancing planning efforts to redevelop the vacant facility into much-needed housing that supports community growth and downtown revitalization.
