The Baraga County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce NMB Industrial LLC as the recipient of the 2025 Dynamo Grant—an award designed to ignite promising new businesses in Baraga County.
Located in Michigamme, NMB Industrial will operate as a specialized welding repair and fabrication shop with a unique twist: service during nights and weekends. This flexible schedule aims to meet the urgent needs of individuals and industries alike, offering high-quality, reliable welding solutions when others are closed.
NMB Industrial’s core services will include equipment repair, custom fabrication, and specialized dock and boat welding. The company will also offer custom welding for trailers and a variety of home and business projects, making it a versatile and valuable resource for residents and industries throughout the region.
The Dynamo Grant is designed to support new or emerging for-profit and nonprofit businesses located in Baraga County that are within their first year of operation or actively preparing to launch. Its goal is to empower ventures that create jobs, address community needs, and deliver in-demand products or services. Each application is carefully reviewed by a committee of local business professionals who assess the business and marketing plans for viability, sustainability, and potential impact.
