The Annual ATV Wilderness Adventure once again provided participants with an unforgettable ride through Baraga County’s beautiful backcountry. Riders traveled approximately seven hours through the wilderness, stopping at scenic destinations including several waterfalls, the Rock Cut, Slate Quarry, the historic train trestle, and Michigan’s highest point, Mt. Arvon, where everyone enjoyed delicious pasties for lunch. The fall colors were absolutely spectacular, and while the weather was cooler, it created perfect riding conditions. Three groups departed the staging area at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 10:30 a.m., with participants thoroughly enjoying the adventure, breathtaking views, and camaraderie along the way. Mark your calendars for the 2027 Annual ATV Wilderness Adventure, scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2027.
