Upper Peninsula Power Company serves electricity to customers across 4,460 square miles some of the most rural, heavily forested, and weather-challenged areas in America. To serve ~52,000 customers – that’s about 12 customers per square mile – we maintain 4,468 miles of power lines, 58 substations, and seven hydroelectric generation facilities.
